A study review found that 25 studies didn’t show scientific support for sensory integration therapy helping those with ASD. I would personally disagree but many of the successes out there are anecdotal. Read this piece and tell us what you think.

  1. I wonder if anyone is looking at the correlation between stress caused by toxins (food, people, environments) etc and sensory overload. I have found that for my son, reducing tress was key to lessening sensory issues…. My kids react to food so strongly as they do to our stress. Seems to me that issue of sensory therapy can not be separated from other areas of health….. stress, nutrition, social life, etc…..
